Description:

We are on the hunt for an accomplished Accounting Manager to join our clients Team SANTA FE, New Mexico. This role will primarily involve supervising and managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, overseeing tax preparation and filing, and ensuring all transactions adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
** This position is Hybrid, with 1 day per week in the office on average, so being local to the area is necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee AR and AP functions, supervise accounting associates and ensure new hires are properly trained
  • Follow and assist in developing accounting policies and procedures, and design reports of accounting, financial, and statistical information
  • Prepare monthly account analyses, reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Assist with monthly general ledger close and financial statement preparation
  • Support external audits by preparing and compiling required documentation
  • Review payment runs, monitor tax filing payments and ensure timely filing
  • Resolve escalated A/R, A/P, and collections issues
  • Approve certain documents in accounting system
  • Coordinate with line management companywide to resolve cross functional projects
  • Work closely with the Client Care Department to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition and customer invoicing
  • Continually improve efficiency and productivity of accounting functions and ensure all accounting and invoicing meet customer contract specifications.
