Accounting Manager

We are in need of a dedicated and experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team. The chosen candidate will be based in Delray Beach, Florida, and will play a key role in financial management in our organization. This role will involve overseeing various accounting functions, using different software systems and ERP solutions, and ensuring all accounting activities align with established laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Support month-end and year-end close process ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings using online tools.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP Solutions to streamline and automate financial management.
• Leverage ADP for payroll processing and ensure accurate computation and disbursements.
• Handle accounting and month-end activities for corporate stores.
• Collaborate with a third-party accountant to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Conduct audits as necessary, working closely with internal and external auditors.
• Use Great Plains (GPAC) and other tools for financial management and reporting.
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor for a minimum of 5 years.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems.
• Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services.
• Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions.
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC).
• Ability to oversee all accounting functions.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Proficiency in auditing procedures and practices.
• Experience in handling billing functions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
• High ethical standards and professionalism, with an ability to handle confidential information.
