Accounting Manager

Robert Half, Management Resources is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in data validation and systems implementation. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data as the company implements a new system, as well as supporting audit activities and assisting with financial statement preparation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on data validation, systems implementation, and audit support.
• Experience with ERP systems implementation (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.

• Lead efforts to validate financial data during system implementation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
• Develop and implement validation procedures and controls to maintain data quality throughout the implementation process.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into system specifications.
• Assist with the planning and coordination of internal and external audits.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
• Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency in data validation, systems implementation, and financial reporting.
