Description:
We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team in Gainesville, Florida. This role is crucial in our accounting department, where you will be handling the month-end close and audit preparation. This role is part of the healthcare industry, and you will be working in a dynamic environment that relies heavily on Excel for day-to-day operations. This is a short term contract employment opportunity (1-2) months and this role will be based onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Accuracy of all accounting and financial data
- Oversee the accounting department - supervisory skills
- Support with month-end close processes
- Assist with upcoming audit requests and other accounting responsibilities
- Use Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning effectively in daily tasks
- Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively
- Use Excel for nested formulas, lookups, and conditional formatting effectively.

- Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in an accounting management role
- Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
- Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Expertise in managing Accounting Functions
- Must have experience in Auditing
- Must possess strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Professional certification such as CPA is highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
