Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager needed in Greater Hartford County for a long-term interim engagement The Ideal candidate should be analytical, results-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and be able to complete accounting research and investigate and resolve issues.
Responsibilities include overseeing accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reports, and handling finance projects. Proficiency in Excel and Word, strong communication and leadership skills, and thorough understanding of accounting concepts needed.
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Minimum of 6-10 years accounting experience
Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word
Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Knowledge of Oracle Fusion a plus
Team player who can identify and initiate process improvements
High level of initiative and ability to meet deadlines
