ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client , for whom we are looking for an Accounting Officer (full-time job), is the subsidiary in Frankfurt of a worldwide renowned financial insitution (Fortune Global 500 company)

QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• University degree in business or Finance
• Knowledge of HGB and IFRS
• Knowledge of Regulatory Reporting requirements
• Knowledge of German tax law is desirable
• Experience in Regulatory Reporting and knowledge of reporting system (BAIS) would be an advantage
• Fluent in German and English, Chinese is a plus
• Knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel

• Preparation of statistical and regulatory reporting to Bundesbank
• Preparation of Daily Regulatory Ratios and reporting to management
• Participation or support in the interpretation of regulatory reporting requirements for the Branch
• Daily accounting tasks, including booking of expenses and accounts payable, fixed asset accounting, tax accounting as well as reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Support the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting based on HGB and IFRS
• Support in management reporting and controlling
• Support the preparation of tax declarations, monthly VAT returns and the preparation of transfer pricing documents
• Professional contact to colleagues, service providers, auditors, regulators and other authorities
