We’re looking for people who have a real drive to make a difference—for our customers, for each other, and for CSC.
This varied and challenging role is responsible for leading the delivery of CSC’s financial administration obligations for its trustee entity and defined benefit schemes. You will support and manage the team who are essential to meeting critical daily business outcomes including the receipt of superannuation contributions and payment of benefits and pensions to members. Coordinating and reporting on the flow of funds across multiple appropriations and super schemes.
Key accountabilities for the role include:
- Development of a high performing and engaged team, providing leadership and mentoring for staff.
- Responsible for the management of all accounting operations processes including:
- Administering cashflows through CSC’s accounts and third-party appropriations in respect of pensions, lump sums, supplier and other payments; and
- Receipting of all employer and member contributions, debt recoveries and other receivables into the administration and finance systems.
- Responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting to the Department of Finance, Department of Defence and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the delivery of monthly reconciliations and timely clearance of outstanding items.
- Responsible for treasury management and banking administration.
- Oversee completion of audit requests across multiple schemes.
- Continuously improve operations to deliver simplicity across all services.
- Establish and administer effective internal controls to manage risk in a complex, highly regulated environment.
