Principal Responsibilities

• Methodically manage Accounts Payable inbox • Work collaboratively with Operations group in matching PO-related invoices to receipts

  • Route Non-PO invoices for approvals
  • Data entry of invoices into Sage & NetSuite
  • Assist in tracking of Capex items, prepayments, deposit. Keep track of Pro-forma invoices.
  • Review employee expense claim coding and process claims timely.
  • Prepare credit card statement reconciliations against monthly credit card statements
  • Assist with journal entries and accounts reconciliations at month end
  • Assist with payment processing in RBC express.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education & Experience

  • 3-5 years accounting experience
  • Post Secondary education in Accounting
  • Technology or Biopharma industry would be an asset. Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent customer service skills: communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to use good judgement to effectively schedule and prioritize work.
  • Team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment
