Description:

OBJECTIVES

In the position of Accounting Specialist, you are responsible for the accounting of individual companies. You will be responsible for preparing or supporting the preparation of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the Grenke companies and will be the contact person for auditors. You will act independently. You are a reliable and very conscientious, well-organised person who enjoys working in a diversified team and with other departments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Part-qualified accountant, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

  • Exercising daily tasks, which include: posting journals, bank reconciliation, manage queries from other departments. Work closely with colleagues from various teams located in different counties.
  • Independently preparing or supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly financial statements.
  • Assisting in preparing annual statutory accounts and ordinate with year-end external audits.
  • Participating in projects to improve accuracy and efficiency in processing of financial data.
  • Respecting & applying Group Compliance rules, Health & Safety, Data Protection and Data Handling, AML,QM Group standards.
