Accounting Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team located in Tulalip, Washington. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the telecom industry. As an Accounting Specialist, your role will involve full cycle accounts payable, payroll, onboarding, and ad hoc projects.

• Handle full cycle accounts payable tasks
• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner
• Onboard new employees and provide necessary training
• Manage ad hoc projects as needed
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Operate ADP for payroll processing
• Maintain and manage accounts payable
• Ensure all payroll activities are compliant with regulations
• Assist in onboarding new hires to familiarize them with company processes
• Use your skills and expertise to drive efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.
• Proficient in QuickBooks software
• Experience with ADP - Payroll
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Familiarity with payroll procedures
• Experience in employee onboarding
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations and guidelines
• Proven track record in maintaining and improving financial systems and procedures.
