Responsibilities:
YOUR NEW ROLE
The Accounts and Admin Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of financial and administrative processes within the organisation. This position involves handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, receipting, resolving issues, investigating discrepancies, managing deliveries, coordinating office activities, and overseeing stock management. Additionally, the Accounts and Admin Officer will be responsible for answering the office phone line and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments.
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Record and reconcile receipts from various sources.
- Investigate financial discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Support for the migration from MYOB to Xero.
- Coordinate deliveries and maintain stock levels.
- Ensure efficient stock management and inventory control.
- Assist with office organisation, including maintaining supplies and equipment.
- Support coordination of events and other administrative tasks.
- Answer the office phone line and handle general enquiries.
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure seamless financial operations.
- As part of a small team, contribute to overall office efficiency.
