Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Assistant, you will assist in the day to day running of the Finance Department. To obtain an understanding of all facets relating to hotel finance whilst providing general administrative support where required.

Main responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer supplier and department manager queries promptly, professionally, and courteously.
  • Assist with sending out and posting credit card statements and expenses.
  • Process staff expenses making sure the appropriate authorisation is in place and all policies and procedures have been adhered to.
  • Setup and modify suppliers in the accounting system as requested by hotels and HODs, making sure the appropriate authorisation is in place and all policies and procedures have been adhered to.
  • Assist with the recording and filing of petty cash transactions.
  • Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.
