We are currently recruiting for a well-known and actively expanding company in the retail industry in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Accounts Executive/Senior Executive, who will be responsible full set of accounts for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Finance Manager, based in Sungai Besi.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. CPA, ICAEW, ACCA, MICPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in an audit firm.
• Possess strong critical thinking, interpersonal and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and communication skills in both Mandarin and English.

• Responsible for full set of accounts which includes AR, AP and GL scopes.
• Perform month end closing activities, bank reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
• Manage petty cash for allocated outlets.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in not only finance & accounting processes and other functional areas.
• Active participation in yearly audit and tax submissions.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.
