An exciting position has become available in our growing team for a driven Accountant/ Accounts Manager to support drive our team in providing an exceptional level of financial information.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to our General Manager, your primary responsibility is to review and reconciling all accounts, taking on all responsibility for reporting, tasks related to bookkeeping and presentation of financial documentation.
This is a full-time position, responsible for the small details and big picture of all financial operations of the consolidated business.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Providing financial reports and ongoing to the Board of Directors.
  • Providing financial support to the management group, ie weekly results, costing and management reporting.
  • Preparation and collation of the budgets, monthly and annually.
  • Book-keeping and inhouse accounting services.
  • Analysis of sales and cost performance and related metrics.
  • Management of staff employment contracts.
  • Joint management of OHS&W.
  • General administration such as insurance, staff records, negotiating annual overheads.
  • Cash flow forecasting (consolidated group)
  • Allocation of costs, revenue to account codes. Data input.
  • Invoicing, cash collection
  • Annual budgets
  • Book-keeping for Amos Vignerons Pty Ltd and Grape Fusion Joint Venture
  • Daily reconciliations and banking
  • Maintenance of the Charts of Accounts
  • Profit & Loss
  • Balance Sheet
  • Asset register
  • Bulk and packaged wine inventory
  • Vintage costings, invoicing and levies
  • Trial annual reports for submission to group accountants (Accru Harris & Orchard)
  • Payroll services
  • Statutory reporting (BAS, WET, PAYG, super etc)
  • Monthly financial reports and progress compared with budget
  • Business units
  • Sales metrics
  • Inventory & stock weeks remaining.
  • Monthly reporting to directors and shareholders.
  • Statistical analysis of costs, sales, margins and metrics.
  • Ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
  • Interpersonal skills: ability to build and maintain collaborative and cooperative working relationships with staff, customers and partners & suppliers.
