Description:

Our client is a Planning, Engineering and Surveying consultancy looking for a highly skilled Accounts Manager to join the team.
As an Accounts Officer you will be responsible for invoicing, forecasting, and reporting on large scale projects using Xero. You will also be a key part of the assisting with the implementation of their new project sysyem, responsible for reviewing staff timesheets and providing support to the Directors and other senior staff as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous proven Accounts Management experience, ideal 3-5years minimum experience in a similar role
  • Excellent relationship, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Xero.
  • Solid skills in project finance for complex development projects.
  • Tech-savvy and enjoy problem-solving and working with technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monthly invoices, undertake forecasting, and summary reporting.
  • Create and interpret Xero reports for large scale projects to monitor project profitability.
  • Review staff timesheets and prepare monthly staff dashboards for Directors / Team Leaders review.
  • Respond to queries, resolve problems, and escalate issues as required.
  • Assist with payroll / staff timesheets (Insightly / TimeCamp)
  • Assist with Project Works system implementation
  • Provide assistance to Directors and other senior staff as required.
