Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Accounts officer position will offer you an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and gain exposure to various aspects of finance, with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable, you will also work closely with our Accounts Payable and Payroll Administration teams, providing a well-rounded experience in financial operations. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records and in supporting the finance department with various tasks and processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the end-to-end process of Account Receivable, including issuing invoices, reconciling payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers will be a key part of the role by handling customer inquiries, addressing payment-related concerns, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Effective credit control and collections.
  • Ad-hoc Accounts Payable duties such as processing invoices, verifying payment terms and ensuring accuracy in the recording of expenses.
  • Collaborating with the finance team, you will contribute to the preparation of financial reports, including accounts receivable aging, cashflow projections and other relevant reports.
