Who will you be working with? This role reports to the Financial Controller.
Where is the position located? This is a full-time role based in Wetherill Park, NSW
What will your typical day look like?

  1. Accounts Payable:
  • Matching PO & GRN to suppliers invoices. Any discrepancies to be followed up with purchasing / supplier & obtain revised invoice / credit notes (Stock, Non-stock);
  • Obtain approval for any non PO expenses prior to submission for data entry;
  • Scan & submit creditors invoice / PO / GRN to TCS for inputting into ERP;
  • Review TCS data entry for accurateness & no invoices on hold;
  • Reconcile creditor statements monthly;
  • Respond & resolve AP queries in a timely manner;
  • Prepare payment batches, weekly & monthly as per terms agreed & obtain authorisation;
  • Payment details forwarded to TCS for inputting into ERP;
  • Maintain filing of electronic & paper-based documents.
  1. Accounts Receivable:
  • Prepare customer remittances advices & bank statement for processing by Genpact;
  • Review Genpact’s data entry for accuracy;
  • Ensure customer collections are within terms including co-ordinate collection activities between Sales team & Genpact
  • Weekly reviews with Genpact on their collection activities.
  1. Cash Book:
  • Print daily bank statements;
  1. Assist Financial Controller with month end reporting tasks & ad hoc reports:
  • Prepare month end reports
  • Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations & uploading to Blackline.
  • Any other duties directed by your manager.
  1. Office:
  • Manage office/ factory stationery requirements;
  • Manage office/ factory kitchen requirements.
  1. Commitment to Quality, Safety & Environmental requirements.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Accounts payable & receivable experience;
  • Effective organisational, multi-tasking & communication skills;
  • Strong computer skills & experience with Microsoft Office & ERP systems;
  • Oracle & Blackline experience advantageous.
