  Navigating the position: Accounts Payable Clerk
  We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a 4-month contract. This role is crucial to maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization. As an Accounts Payable Clerk at OTG, you will manage supplier ledgers, ensure timely payment of invoices, and resolve both internal and external queries. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our financial processes, making a tangible impact on the company’s operations.   Your Voyage Ahead:

Supplier Ledger Management:

• Maintain sub ledger accounts.
• Manage the authorization of invoices.
• Assure prompt settlement of supplier invoices.
• Allocate payments accurately.
• Resolve queries both internal and external.

Process Adherence:

• Adhere to company policies.
• Maintain consistent, accurate, and high-quality processes.

Payment Processing:

• Ensure timely processing of payments as needed.
• Establish dependable relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Accounts Payable Management:

• Manage the accounts payable sub-ledgers to ensure accurate records.
• Manage AP email inboxes and workflows.

• Respond promptly to queries related to invoices, credit notes, and payments.

  Reporting:

• Prepare regular, periodic, and ad-hoc reports as required by accounts payable policies.

• Consolidate and integrate existing group AP activities to establish efficient processes.

Policy Development:

• Maintain and develop procedures and policies that promote timely payments.
• Ensure high levels of supplier satisfaction through effective payment processes.

Recommended to bring on board:

Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years working experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing multiple Accounts Payable (AP) ledgers.
• Experience with multi-currency supplier invoices and VAT/Tax regulations.
• Experience with multi-currency payments.

Skills:

• Excellent skills in Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, with Netsuite being desirable.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence and the ability to influence individuals for approvals and manage supplier payment requests.
