DESCRIPTION
Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary Assignment - Up to $28/HR
- Vancouver Location: Hybrid Work Model
- Initial Assignment Length: 5 months
Well-established and growing Vancouver company is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This is a great organization, with a great culture, in a dynamic industry.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Pay vendors according to payment schedule
- Scheduling and preparing cheques, wires and EFTs
- Resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
- Issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries
- Respond to vendor inquiries in a customer focused manner
- Reconcile monthly vendor accounts, statements and related transactions.
The Successful Candidate:
- Previous experience in processing AP functions
- Attention to detail
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-Lookups
- Excellent time management and organization skill
