Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary Assignment - Up to $28/HR

  • Vancouver Location: Hybrid Work Model
  • Initial Assignment Length: 5 months

Well-established and growing Vancouver company is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team. This is a great organization, with a great culture, in a dynamic industry.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Pay vendors according to payment schedule
  • Scheduling and preparing cheques, wires and EFTs
  • Resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies
  • Issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries
  • Respond to vendor inquiries in a customer focused manner
  • Reconcile monthly vendor accounts, statements and related transactions.

The Successful Candidate:

  • Previous experience in processing AP functions
  • Attention to detail
  • Multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-Lookups
  • Excellent time management and organization skill
