Description:

DESCRIPTION

Our Vancouver real estate development client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join the team for a temporary assignment.

  • Hourly rate ranging from $25-28/HR
  • Location: Vancouver, in-office
  • 1 month assignment with the opportunity to extend to permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle accounts payable
  • Verify, code, and process vendor invoices and employee expenses
  • Prepare and process weekly check runs
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Maintain vendor files and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and filed
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and communicate with other departments as needed
  • Assist with month-end close and other accounting duties as assigned

The Successful Candidate:

  • 2+ years full cycle accounts payable experience
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
