• Receive, review, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation;
• Verify invoice details, such as purchase orders, quantities, prices, and payment terms;
• Prepare and process vendor payments, including checks and electronic transfers;
• Monitor payment due dates and take proactive measures to avoid late payments;
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, including discrepancies in invoice amounts, posting errors, and missing documentation;
• Prepare and analyze aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and accruals to support month-end and year-end closing processes;
• Generate financial reports and analyses related to accounts payable activities, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements;
• Printing and filing AP invoices and checks;
• Opening, sorting and distribute the mail;
• Answering phones and occasionally ship goods via UPS and Federal Express;
• Assist with other projects as needed.
