Description:
Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity in a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. Attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department, this role works closely with and reports to the Accounting Manager. The primary focus of this role is matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. Key responsibilities
- Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
- Carry out additional projects as required
- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
- Complete full-cycle A/P
- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department
- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed
- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents
- Help with internal and external audits as required
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
- Competent with spreadsheets and databases
- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills
- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
- Microsoft Excel experience
