Description:

Become an imperative part of a steadily developing team at a thriving company as an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk. This short-term contract / temporary position is offered through Robert Half. Processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L, processing checks, resolving A/P issues, and matching, batching, and coding invoices are just a few of the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk. As the role progresses , more responsibilities will be assigned to the Accounts Payable Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Richmond, British Columbia area and will be a short-term contract / temporary position.

How you will make an impact

  • Provide administrative assistance to the AP/Finance Department
  • Carry out additional projects as required
  • Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis
  • Assist internal business partners with any customer services needs
  • Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed
  • Produce full-cycle A/P
  • Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
  • Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
  • 1+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
  • Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
  • Spreadsheet and database capabilities
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
  • Code Invoices experience preferred
  • Account reconciliation experience
  • Adeptness in Enter Vendor Invoices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong familiarity with Enter Invoices
  • Administrative Assistance experience preferred
  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired
