Description:
Overview:
- Primary job scope focus on accounts payable and expenses for the company as part of the new regional payables team. Ensuring that invoices and expenses are processed timely for the region together with the wider finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Handling of Accounts Payable, including receipt of invoices, routing for approvals and ensuring payments are released
- Ensure that all invoices are posted timely in the accounting system
- Handle bi-monthly payment cycle
- Prepare accrual journals for month end reporting
- Perform accounts analysis and audit schedules
- Assisting in the Employee expense reimbursement process
- Assisting in providing information for the submission of quarterly GST
- Liaise with internal/external accountants for accurate upkeep of books
- Liaise with internal/external auditors over yearly financial audits
Qualifications:
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- 2 – 3 years’ experience in relevant fields an advantage.
- Meticulous and diligent.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Experience with accounting software.
