Location: On-site at our Bristol office (Minimum 4 Days per week)
Salary: Up to £45,000 + Completion Bonus

Responsibilities:

VAARST IS AN EXCITING AND DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT MEANING THESE ARE LIKELY TO CHANGE AS WE GROW, UPON JOINING YOUR OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers through effective communication and negotiation of payment terms.
  • Fostering strong supplier partnerships, ensure timely delivery of goods and services while optimising payment schedules.
  • Coordinate supply chain payment plans efficiently to ensure on-time and accurate payments to suppliers.
  • Accurately track supply chain costs and payment schedules using spreadsheets and financial software.
  • Provide regular updates on expenditure forecasts and potential cost-saving opportunities to key stakeholders internally, enabling informed decision-making and proactive budget management.

  • Qualification and experience in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) for meticulous financial data tracking and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective negotiation and correspondence with suppliers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet payment deadlines
  • Experience in finance, supply chain, or procurement roles is desirable
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Xero) is a plu
