Description:
An Accounts Payable Officer position is available on a temporary-to-permanent basis at a pharmaceutical company offering 2 days WFH.
THE COMPANY
If you’re looking for a position where you can collaborate closely with an engaged Director, who prioritizes personality and drive over years of experience, then this opportunity is perfect for you.
Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is committed to pioneering innovative products that address critical medical needs in the market. On a more operational level, they have achieved remarkable growth, going from zero sales to $300 million in just two years. While their primary finance team operates from Melbourne, they have established offices in Sydney and Brisbane as well. Additionally, they operate on an international scale, with a presence in the US and Europe, among other regions.
This Accounts Payable position, newly established in the Brisbane office, offers the chance to work closely with both the Finance Manager and the company’s Director. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the director with tasks like raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and ensuring efficient communication with global suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing invoices related to research and development costs, requiring meticulous attention to detail and a keen understanding of accrued expenses. Other tasks encompass preparing weekly batch files for supplier payments, reconciling bank balances, and generating accruals lists at month-end. You’ll track and summarize invoices, possess knowledge of AP automation processes and serve as the primary contact for supplier queries and payments. Additionally, you’ll review the finance inbox, liaise with suppliers, and support month-end and half-yearly audit requests by summarizing expenditure requests by supplier.
