Job Description
To assist with all aspects of an efficient and effective Accounts Payable Department as required by the Expeditors Management team, ensuring but not limited to, the timely payment of vendor invoices, managing bills not paid, resolving inter company balances, compliant execution of defined month end closing process and satisfaction of customers (internal/external) through exceptional customer service.
In addition to this, to perfrom tasks as requested, including, but not exclusive to, assisting in general Accounts Payable functions. Responsible to all aspects of the job to the Assistant Accounting Manager.

- Competent use of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Efficient Time Management
- Problem solving ability.

- Competent and courteous communication and phone manner
- Versatility, to be able to jump easily from one task to another.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Accounting
- General Mathematical knowledge, including but not exclusive to, dealing with Exchange Rates, Foreign Currency
Additional Information
VISA REQUIREMENTS:
- Any visa which allows working 37.5 hrs per week.
Responsibilities:
- Checking and processing of vendor invoices in the system.
- Follow up with vendors for outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile inter company transactions.
- Checking and processing payments in the banking system.
- Sending reports and coordinate with other branches for Bills not paid OR Paid not billed transactions.
- Verification of expense claim vouchers.
- End of month reporting.
- In addition to this, to perform tasks as requested, including, but not exclusive to, assisting in general import operations.
