Job Description
Our Real Estate Management Services (REMS) team is seeking a proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join the team and help accelerate the success of our client portfolio. This role is an integral part of the function, providing the property managers with exceptional accounting support and management of the trust accounts.
Please note: This role can be worked on a part-time basis. E.g. 5 days with shortened working hours, or 3-4 days per week.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare month end financials and reporting for properties, ensuring timely delivery of reports to the client.
- Manage AP and AR functions as required to ensure processing is accurate and assist with queries.
- Ensure lease management database is accurate and up to date with current lease data.
- Trust accounting function as required, including accruals, prepayments, and analysing variances.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and reconciling financial data to ensure accurate and timely reporting to clients.
- Reconcile trust bank accounts.
- Assist and work on outgoings reconciliations and annual budgets alongside the lease administration team.
- Ensure lease management database is accurate and up to date with current lease data.
- Handle queries from the client and landlords/suppliers as required.
Qualifications
Some of the skills and experience you will bring to this role include:
- University Degree Qualified.
- Experience within a similar role, preferably within property.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Knowledge of Yardi platform preferable but not essential.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- It is essential to be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
