Partnering with some of the largest developers and Infrastructure owners in the state, we pride ourselves on being able to deliver projects on time and on budget. Due to this, we currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team.
    Reporting to the Team Lead and Senior Accountant, you will be working closely with the broader Finance team, liaising with our site based project teams and various internal and external stakeholders. The role is varied and whilst your first port of call is accounts payable, there is a component which will see you working with a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for the following:

  • Verifying the accuracy of invoices against dockets and statements
  • Processing creditor payments, match invoices to PO’s, verifying goods received, and data entry
  • Reconciling bank statements by comparing statements with the general ledger and escalating any discrepancies.
  • Entering and updating data within the designated Rokon systems and ensure data is backed up as necessary to support company requirements.
  • Compiling and generating reports and verifying as required.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement related to business processes or systems
  • Liaising with a variety of stakeholders to check on invoicing and payments.
