Description:

We are extending an invitation for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mesa, Arizona. The role will involve overseeing accounts payable operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring efficient payment processing. This opportunity offers a contract to hire employment type.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the accounts payable operations, ensuring all financial transactions are processed accurately and within a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring all details are correct and approved before processing.
  • Manage vendor relationships, resolving any payment queries or issues that may arise.
  • Utilize your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) to improve and streamline the accounts payable process.
  • Regularly review accounts to detect any discrepancies and rectify issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present regular reports detailing the status of the accounts payable function.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve financial processes.
  • Resolve customer inquiries related to accounts payable.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar
  • Proficiency in using Accounts Payable (AP) software
  • A strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Demonstrable experience in data entry and management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Problem-solving skills and an analytical mind
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
