Description:

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Beverly Hills, California. The position is within the hospitality industry, specifically in the finance department. The role involves managing and processing high-volume invoice, maintaining vendor relations, tracking expenses, reconciling accounts payable transactions, payment management, compliance, automation integration, reporting, system maintenance, and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently processing high-volume invoices ensuring accuracy and timely payment
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors, addressing and resolving any discrepancies or issues
  • Monitoring and tracking expenses, ensuring proper coding and adherence to budgetary guidelines
  • Performing monthly reconciliations of accounts payable transactions, including vendor statements
  • Preparing and processing electronic transfers and payments, including checks and wire transfers
  • Ensuring all accounts payable activities comply with financial policies, procedures, and controls
  • Utilizing and optimizing automation tools to streamline accounts payable processes
  • Generating and analyzing accounts payable reports for management review
  • Maintaining and updating the accounts payable system, ensuring data integrity
  • Providing support during audits and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of Accounting Functions
  • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and practices
  • Familiarity with Check Processing
  • Ability to perform accurate Data Entry
  • Knowledge in coding Invoices
  • Experience in handling Approved Invoices
