Accounts Payable Specialist

We are in search of a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in CLEVELAND, Ohio. This role offers a contract employment opportunity, where the individual will be primarily responsible for data entry of invoices and vendor maintenance. The successful candidate must have experience with SAP S4Hanna and a strong understanding of accounting functions, particularly accounts payable.

• Efficiently enter and manage data related to invoices and vendors
• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline and automate processes
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize and interpret accounting data
• Conduct regular check processing to ensure timely payments
• Resolve any discrepancies in accounts payable records promptly and effectively
• Maintain and update vendor information in IBM AS/400 system
• Leverage understanding of accounting functions to improve financial management
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)
• Experience with IBM AS/400
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Knowledge of Check Processing
• Proficient in Data Entry
• Ability to handle Discrepancy resolution in accounting tasks
