Description:

CMS Distribution is one of Europe’s leading specialist technology distributor, a growing and successful business with 500+ people across six locations in the UK and Ireland, plus locations in the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia Germany, the US China.
Oversee the operations of the Accounts Payable, being the responsible person and Line Manager to staff in these areas. Also a focus on process automation.

SKILLS & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Must have experience in FMCG/High Volume environment
  • Minimum of 3 years proven experience leading and managing an Accounts Payable team within a fast-paced organisation
  • Must have strong people skills
  • Strong process and commercial skills
  • Experience with SAP and or Robotic Process Automation would be an advantage

Responsibilities:

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable

  • Lead the Team of Specialists and Administrators.
  • Liaise with the Finance Transformation Team and other key stakeholders to drive automation and Process Improvement, using RPA, SAP and other tools as necessary
  • Research, champion and implement new tools and procedures to further streamline AP process
  • Manage Creditor Reconciliation process
  • Manage supplier relationships from an AP perspective
  • Work cross functionally with various teams to resolve outstanding issues arising through vendor reconciliations
  • Act as point of escalation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with the Group Financial Controller to move Accounts Payable Functions from Subsidiary locations (where practical) to Kiltimagh
  • Develop and enhance SMART KPI’s to monitor performance and efficiencies
  • Ensure cross training of the Team to provide resilience
  • Review and update all current process documentation
  • Liaise with Internal Audit to drive best practice and segregation of duties
  • Complete all EE reviews and performance discussions with direct reports
  • Complete probation reviews as and when required with team members
