We are seeking an outstanding Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our Pacific Finance team based in Auckland.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our Shared Services team. You will be responsible for mentoring the Accounts Payable Team in the timely processing of allocated payments of invoices, employee expense claims, customer refunds, and overseas payments, reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE FOCUSED ON:
- Timely Supplier payments and Vendor reconciliations;
- Customer service, both internally and externally;
- Exception reporting and dispute resolution;
- Accounts Payable functions are completed to meet internal, external, and SOX auditing requirements.
- Supporting all of our divisions, you will be comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment whilst ensuring everything is reconciled and data integrity is maintained.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE:
- 3 years experience in Accounts Payable within a busy and fast-paced environment
- Experience of Invoice / Purchase Order / Receipt matching;
- Reconciliation skillset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy of data entry;
- A diligent and proactive attitude;
- Strong communication skills, relationship-building skills, and highly customer-focused;
- Investigative and resolution skills, and the ability to use your initiative;
- Understanding of end-to-end payables process with the ability to take ownership
- A high standard of professionalism and good phone manners;
- An ability to communicate well with and train non-finance staff;
