Description:

Here at Robert Half, we are seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated contract-to-hire Accounts Receivable Analyst to become part of our client’s accounting team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounts receivable management, proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Manage the accounts receivable process efficiently and accurately.
Generate and send out customer invoices promptly.
Follow up on outstanding receivables and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and initiate collection efforts as necessary.
Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and other financial reports as needed.
Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to maintain detailed records and reports.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline AR operations.
Assist with ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Analyst or similar role.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills required.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience in collections and customer service is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software is advantageous.
