Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the healthcare industry. This role involves managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. You will also handle customer credit accounts and take the necessary steps to collect overdue payments.

SKILLS:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Oracle is desirable
  • Strong research skills and ability to resolve account discrepancies
  • Familiarity with check processing, regulation, deposits, bank reconciliations, and receipt management
  • Knowledge of dispute resolution, credit card processing, and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
  • Excellent phone presence and customer account management skills
  • Ability to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) management.
  • Ability to provide workstation support.
  • Excellent phone presence and communication skills.
  • Experience in check processing, deposits, and bank reconciliations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle software.
  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of making adjustments in line with company policy.
  • Experience in interviewing and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Experience in managing customer accounts.
  • Ability to provide training and conduct research.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications and receipts including checks, credit cards, and Automated Clearing House (ACH)
  • Conduct research and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts
  • Prepare and reconcile bank deposits and statements
  • Update customer account information and records regularly to ensure accuracy
  • Respond to inquiries and disputes related to customer accounts in a timely manner
  • Process refunds, credits, and adjustments to customer accounts as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to accounts receivable management
  • Execute other duties as assigned related to the function of an Accounts Receivable Clerk.
