Purpose of the role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our established and knowledgeable Finance team.
This role is responsible for the debt collection of outstanding invoices to ensure funds are recovered in an appropriate manner, closing out relevant accounts and to providing administrative support to the Accounts Receivable team. This role works alongside a team of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Process and allocate EFT’s to customer accounts
  • Handling customer queries by email and phone
  • Decommissioning of private and CIB customer accounts; ensuring payment and invoicing options are correctly established or terminated respectively for each client
  • Processing of private and corporate remittances - allocating and posting to customer accounts

Experience and Requirements

  • Experience with accounts receivable, ERP’s and data entry
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately enter information to enable accurate generation of management accounts
  • Proven experience in a customer service-driven organisation with outstanding communication skills and the ability to liaise with both internal and external clients maintaining confidentiality where appropriate
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage own work objectives
  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles of exceptional customer service, including the ability to empathise with people in need and be responsive to client needs
