Robert Half is actively sourcing experience in candidates for a HYBRID Accounts Receivable Specialist opportunity in Hawthorne, New York. This role is crucial involves the handling of invoicing, cash application, reviewing the accuracy of invoices, and providing reports for month-end recording. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-paced environment and will play a key role in maintaining our company’s financial health and success.

• Handle invoicing tasks for all customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Perform manual invoice automation to streamline processes and increase efficiency. • Apply cash appropriately to customer accounts and manage all aspects of cash activity. • Review invoices for accuracy and resolve any discrepancies that may arise. • Dispatch invoices to customers and clients promptly and professionally. • Process payments from customers, ensuring they are accurately recorded and applied. • Provide shipping documentation to relevant parties as required. • Generate reports for month-end recording, assisting in financial analysis and planning. • Use Microsoft Office Suites, especially Excel, to manage data and perform various tasks. • Use your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and major ERP systems to manage accounts and perform billing functions effectively. • Check processing and budgeting tasks as required to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Extensive experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
• Familiarity with Billing Functions and Cash Activity is required
• Experience in Check Processing is necessary
• Knowledge of D365 is desirable
• Prior experience in Budgeting is advantageous
• Familiarity with Major ERP System is a must
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
