Accounts Receivable Specialist

Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable specialist! You will be responsible for managing the incoming payments for a company. Their main tasks include invoicing clients, tracking payments, following up on overdue accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and communicating with customers to resolve any issues related to payments. Additionally, they may be involved in generating reports and analyzing data related to accounts receivable to support financial decision-making processes. Typical duties vary by specialty, but may include: • Generate and send out invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner • Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balances • Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes with customers • Process incoming payments in various forms (checks, credit card transactions, electronic transfers) • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness • Prepare aging reports and other financial analysis related to accounts receivable • Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve payment issues
