Our client has been operating worldwide in the hospitality industry for over 50 years, with an outstanding history and presence across the country. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join and lead the dynamic finance team.
Your new role
As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the credit and collections process, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring timely and accurate payments from our customers. This is a vital role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of credit management principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimise risk and maximise cash flow
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish credit limits
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments and identify potential delinquencies
  • Review and approve credit terms and conditions for new and existing customers
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment issues
  • Collaborate with legal and collection agencies to recover outstanding debts
  • Conduct regular credit reviews and assessments to identify potential areas of improvement
  • Prepare and analyse reports on accounts receivable ageing, collections, and credit risk
  • Provide guidance and training to the accounts receivable team
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in credit management regulations

What you’ll need to succeed

This role is a fundamental position for the finance department. To be successful in this role, you will meet the criteria below. Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus)
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable / Credit Manager or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of credit management principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
