Responsibilities:

Would you like to work as an Acoustic Measurement Engineer in a well-recognized international company with many successful projects carried out for manufacturers and operators of wind turbines in its portfolio? Join out team and contribute to the Energy Transition in the Renewables business in Germany and worldwide.
A Project Engineer for acoustics carries out acoustic measurements at wind turbines or near houses. Due to weather dependency, he/she has to be flexible and likes to be out of the office (~25% of the time). The project work and traveling are organized in small and changing teams. Using a data acquisition system, noise, turbine data, and other environmental data are measured and stored. Data analysis and report writing are done in the office, using various software tools for data analysis and enterprise software for reporting. The work is mainly carried out in northern Germany, but also in other parts of Germany and European countries, with possible worldwide travel. The DNV Acoustics team is a well-known and preferred business partner for acoustic services for many manufacturers as well as operators of wind turbines. Our expertise is sought after and recognized by authorities and standardization bodies.
The Section Acoustics is part of the Measurements Department in Germany, performing calculations and measurements with regard to acoustics from wind turbines. The Section consists of 15 employees, located in Kaiser-Wilhelm-Koog, Hamburg, and Oldenburg.
