Job Type: FTC (6 months)
Location: Hybrid. This role is based in either our Edinburgh office with time spent working in the office and at home.
Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.
Salary and benefits: £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

This role supports our iconic Standard Life brand and is at the forefront of delivering on our ambitious plans. This role is primarily responsible for helping us to retain and grow our existing customers, across both our Personal Pension and our wider Group products. This is an exciting time for our business – we have significant growth plans, and as part of that we want to make sure we’re rewarding our existing customers for staying with us, helping them to get the most from the products they hold with us and making sure our wider Group customers are in the best products to meet their needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for building, developing and launching effective acquisition and retention strategies, by developing a strong, creative, insight-led programme of multi-channel Marketing activity. You’ll develop innovative and hard-working activity, segmenting your approach and testing messaging and channels to drive tangible results against our key business and customer objectives.
You’ll work across the organisation, collaborating with Proposition, Data & Analytics, internal creative teams and Customer Insight to develop a deep understanding of our customer segment. You’ll develop and maintain a strong level of insight into the Retail Pension market which you’ll use to further your understanding of what our customers want, driving a market-leading approach to retention.
Measurement is key to this role - you’ll develop objectives and KPI’s for every piece of activity, reporting on performance against these KPI’s and business objectives. You’ll build testing into every piece of activity we deliver, ensuring we’re continually optimising to maximise performance. Customer insight is also key, and you’ll continually monitor and digest regular reports into customer behaviour and attitudes to ensure that all activity reflects customer needs and wants as well as changing market conditions.
