ACS QA Engineer (m/f/d)

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand software requirements and specifications and resolve issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases for software applications.
• Develop automation tools for running regression for ACS tools.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to validate software functionality, including functional, performance, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using Jira.
• Review documentation.
• Participate in spec planning and product release activities.
• Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer or similar role, designing and executing manual and automated tests.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go or Rust for building test automation.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira and version control systems such as Bitbucket.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium.
• Knowledge of relational database languages such as SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• 5+ years of testing experience.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc).
• Hands on knowledge with container technology.
