We’d like you to join us as a Activities Coordinator at our service Frenchay in Bristol.
The post is based at the Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre (FBIRC). The FBIRC is the Level 1 specialist inter-disciplinary neuro-rehabilitation centre serving the South West region. The centre operates within a joint working arrangement between North Bristol NHS Trust and Active Care Group.
A very rewarding and satisfying job working with patients who benefit greatly from the activity programme.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Activities Co-ordinator, on a part time, permanent contract, to join our existing team. The successful candidate will jointly develop and run a programme of social and recreational activities to meet the needs of brain injured patients in the acute rehabilitation setting.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an individual who is able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and under their own initiative. The post holder will be responsible for planning, organising and implementing a social, recreational, and leisure activity programme in partnership with our existing Activities Co-ordinators. This will involve individual and group activities within the unit and the wider community. The post holder will work closely with the multi-disciplinary therapy team.
