Description:
SONAS NURSING HOME IS SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR TO JOIN OUR TEAM AND HELP CREATE A SAFE AND STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR RESIDENTS. OUR ACTIVITIES COORDINATORS PROVIDE A WIDE RANGE OF ACTIVITIES AND SERVICES TO PROMOTE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND EMOTIONAL WELLBEING, AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH A PASSION FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR RESIDENTS.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering activities that meet the individual needs of our residents. From exercise classes to art classes, to gardening activities and group outings, you will create an engaging and enjoyable atmosphere for all residents to enjoy. You will also be responsible for assessing the interests and abilities of residents, managing a team of volunteers, and creating a budget for activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant qualifications in Health, Nursing & Social Care.
- At least two years’ experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for providing meaningful activities for our residents.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
