Gravie is Growing! In this newly created role, you’ll take what we’re doing - creating a health plan people will love – and apply actuarial analysis across the company to help us achieve our goals. You’ll thrive in this role if the idea of being an “Actuarial watch dog” in a high growth unstructured environment excites you! This will be a unique opportunity to disrupt the status quo and lay down the train tracks as the train is moving (i.e. you get to build things yourself!).

YOU BRING:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 2-5 years of substantial experience supporting health actuarial functions
• Basic experience with SQL, Python, Java, VBA and/or other programming languages
• 2+ actuarial exams passed and seeking credentials
• A successful track record of taking an idea on how to improve a process and executing on it
• Curiosity in the story behind the numbers and how that story impacts the broader business
• Comfort and skill in communicating broad and complex concepts to a diverse audience
• Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment that is constantly maturing and evolving
• A creative and consultative approach, with an interest in thinking outside of the box, with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple critical projects
