The Actuarial Analyst will support the functions/tasks of the Actuarial Department.

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related field that supports analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA) preferred.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3+ years of actuarial, business analytics, financial analysis or relevant experience.
  • Medicare experience preferred.
  • 3-4 Actuary Exams (taken and passed) preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Demonstrates broad understanding of health insurance products and markets and core functions of health insurance company.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as work effectively as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, PowerBI, and Word.
