Description:
DUTIES: Assume responsibilities for certain market categories for quarterly reporting of non-traditional life and/or annuity solutions. Quarterly reporting responsibilities include: build, maintain, and use reporting workbooks; prepare an signoff on accruals and reserves for US statutory, IFRS, Solvency II, and other financial results; format and present results and analysis in an appropriate manner for further actuarial review. Perform ongoing in-force management of assigned deals. This includes: monitoring actual experience against expectations in order to keep management informed of performance and allow for corrective action, if needed; implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency in reporting deals. Collaborate within the department and organization on special projects and initiatives utilizing actuarial and business expertise, as needed. Remote work from home permitted.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics or related field and one (1) year of experience as a life insurance/reinsurance actuary, actuary analyst or related role where required experience gained.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires experience in the following:
- Financial reporting knowledge: Solvency II, IFRS17, US Stat
- Computer software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA, R
- Insurance product knowledge: Term, ULSG, FIA/FA
- Data-manipulation
- Minimum of two actuarial exams from the Society of Actuaries or similar organization with the intent to be credentialed
