Longevity Holdings (doing business through its subsidiaries ITM TwentyFirst, ITM, The Berwyn Group, Inc., Maple Life Analytics, LexServ, Fasano & Associates and PBI Research Services) is a fast growing company that provides senior longevity data, analytics and services to the pension, benefits, life insurance, structured settlement, and life settlement markets.
The Actuarial Associate is responsible for the production and delivery of a wide range of financial and actuarial analyses, to address complex issues facing Life Settlement and mortality-linked asset investors. The role requires a basic understanding of actuarial mathematics including theory of interest and life contingency calculations. The role will build an expertise of secondary and tertiary Life Settlement markets, asset valuation and data analysis. The role will be expected to present to internal and external clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT IN THE FOLLOWING WAYS:
- Plays a key technical role for periodic valuation of Life Settlement portfolios.
- Develop analytics tools and models to provide solutions and increased efficiency in consulting engagements.
- Maintain market transaction databases to be leveraged across various business activities.
- Enhance analysis tools for experience analysis on mortality datasets.
- Manages various ongoing consulting engagements simultaneously.
- Analyze policy values and structure to determine appropriate economic values.
- Support the sales team in the effort to provide our customers with superior service.
- Maintain accurate reports reflecting pricing statistics.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING:
- 3+ years of experience of cash flow modeling and/or life insurance pricing background
- Knowledge of mathematic operations including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
- Skill in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Skill in active listening, reading comprehension, and the ability to speak and comprehend English language.
- Skill in computer and software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Studies or other equivalent degrees with a strong background in math and analytical thinking.
