Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or any related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, soil mechanics, and foundation engineering.
- Proficiency in geotechnical analysis software and CAD programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Proficient in demonstrating both independent initiative and effective teamwork capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Define the main sequence of works for projects, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of tasks from initial planning through to completion.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions and parameters.
- Analyze soil conditions and perform investigations to inform foundation design and construction methods.
- Review, guide, and collaborate with subcontractors in aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams during the implementation phase, including site supervision and quality control.
- Oversee and manage subcontractors to ensure they work in safe and productive conditions, providing necessary support and resources while enforcing compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Manage the interface between subcontractors, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless integration of activities within the project timeline and budget.
- Monitor construction activities to identify and address any issues that may arise.
- Supervise the safety and quality of the works, implementing measures to mitigate risks, maintain compliance with industry standards, and uphold the integrity of the project deliverables.
- Conduct periodic inspections and assessments to verify the performance and integrity of installed foundation systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in geotechnical engineering to continuously improve project outcomes and methodologies.
